These terms cover crush: the website at yourcrush.app and the AI companions who text you on iMessage. By subscribing or texting a crush number you agree to them. crush is run by [Operator: legal entity name and registered address, to be added].

What crush is

crush is an AI companion service. Every companion is a fictional character written and played by AI. They text you on iMessage, and can send you AI-generated photos of themselves and voice notes made with an AI voice. None of them is a real person, and no photo shows a real person.

A companion can't meet you, call you, or send or receive money, and nothing a companion says is medical, legal, financial or mental health advice. Asked whether it is real, a companion says it is an AI.

Adults only

You must be 18 or older to use crush. Before any explicit conversation or photo, we check your age with a selfie or an ID document through our age check provider. Accounts that appear to belong to someone under 18 are restricted for good; if one paid, we refund it.

Your subscription

crush costs $29.99 a month in US dollars, paid through our Shopify checkout. You pay the first month when you subscribe, and it renews every month on that date until you cancel.
Each month includes unlimited texts and 50 photos. Photos you don't use don't carry over to the next month.
Past the 50, you can buy photo packs: 9 photos for $8.99, 16 photos for $12.99 or 40 photos for $19.99. A pack is a one-off purchase, its photos never expire, and they are used once your monthly photos run out.
Unlimited texts means we don't count your messages. We may slow or pause an account that sends automated or abusive volumes.
Your bank may add its own fees, for example for a payment in another currency.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time. Email support@yourcrush.app with the iPhone number you subscribed with, and we reply to confirm. A cancellation you send before your renewal date stops that renewal. You keep crush until the end of the month you have paid for, and you aren't charged again. Refunds are covered in the refund policy.

What you can't do

No content involving minors or childlike characters, ever.
No content about real people or using their likeness.
No non-consensual acts, incest or bestiality.
No using crush to harass anyone, or to get at anyone else's account or data.
No automated access, scraping or reselling.

Breaking these ends your account. A subscription ended this way isn't refunded.

Your messages and what the AI writes

What you send stays yours. You let us store and process it to run crush: to write your companion's replies, remember your conversations and keep everyone safe. The privacy policy says how. Replies, photos and voice notes are made by AI and can be wrong or odd; don't rely on them.

If you are in crisis

crush is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988 in the US, Samaritans on 116 123 in the UK and Ireland, or Lifeline on 13 11 14 in Australia. Elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists a line near you.

Availability

crush reaches you through iMessage, which depends on Apple, your carrier and our messaging providers. Texts can arrive late or not at all, and we may need to pause the service to fix or improve it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

Liability

As far as the law allows, crush is provided as it is, and our responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
