Privacy Policy

Updated 30 October 2026

This is what crush stores about you, why, and how to have it deleted. crush is run by [Operator: legal entity name and registered address, to be added], which is responsible for your data.

What we store

  • Your phone number: the one you give at checkout and the one you text from.
  • Your conversation: the messages you send, your companion's replies, and the short notes your companion keeps so it remembers you, including plans you mention.
  • The photos and voice notes made for you, and counts of what you have used (texts, photos, photo packs).
  • Your purchases: the order, plan, amount and status. Shopify takes your payment; we never see your card number.
  • Your age check result. From a selfie check we get an estimated age; from an ID check, your date of birth and age. The provider keeps no face template for us.
  • On this website: which pages you open and what you tap, recorded without the text on the page or anything you type. Nobody is identified by name.

Why

To run crush: to write your companion's replies, remember your conversations, text you at the times you asked, send the photos you have paid for, keep the safety rules and limits, and take payment. We use website visits to see which pages work and to fix what doesn't. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

  • AI model providers, who write the replies, make the photos and voice notes, and run the safety checks.
  • Our iMessage delivery provider, which sends and receives your texts.
  • Shopify, for checkout and payments.
  • Our age check provider, for the selfie or ID check.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts crush and its databases, and PostHog, for website analytics.

Each works on our behalf under its own data processing terms. Some of them process data in the United States.

How it is kept

Each person's conversation and memory live in a private database of their own. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Deleting your data

Email support@yourcrush.app with the iPhone number you text from. We delete your conversation, your companion's memory, your plans and settings, and the photos and voice notes stored for you, and cancel any subscription. Some records stay, so deleting can't be used to get around a limit or a safety rule: your phone number as the account's key, your payment records and subscription status, counts of what you have used, a log of when your companion texted you first, records of any crisis messages, and, if our safety checks found an account belongs to someone under 18, that restriction.

Children

crush is for adults. We don't knowingly keep data from anyone under 18 beyond the safety records above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will do it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change what we store or who processes it, we update this page and its date first.
